  • My first thought is to cut it and use it as a scoop. Here are some more ideas:

our town has people save them, they wash and cut out a portion opposite the handle. Put some sand in the bottom and a votive candle. on Christmas Eve they line the main road coming into town with them all lit! Very pretty, could use to line your sidewalk, or driveway.

well anything ...bird feeders.. make it into a scoop of sorts..like dog/cat bird seed.. you could also paint it with rustrolium and make a bird house from it.. whatever you can think of ;];]

Fill them with water, put lids on and use them to fill up the empty spaces in your freezer. If the power goes out your food stays frozen, it takes a load off your freezer motor, you have block ice for picnics, and when they thaw out you have several gallons of clean drinking water!

I used to do this, as the fuller your freezer is, the less electricity it uses.

In summer, we would put it in a big cooler, take a hammer to it and there’s our ice.

No paying two dollars for a bag of ice at the grocery store!

I cut the top off (leaving the handle like a scoop) and use them to sort and store all my DIY bits and pieces.

There are always craft groups in Facebook.

I go on there, hit up the teachers.

Ask them if they need sour cream tubs/ cottage cheese containers, these milk jugs, toilet paper rolls; whatever we can use twice before going into the landfill helps the next generation

Sorry have never taken pictures. But I also lived on a lake for a while and they lined the lake with them on New Year's Eve. No pictures, just fond memories.

Store water for plants during drought times. Cut and use as Planters for home or garden. You can paint them.

We turned one upside down and drilled holes in the lid. Homemade water jugs for watering plants.
