I think it's a little early - perhaps more towards middle of April. There are charts available, perhaps google them.
I live in NY and I start my flowering seeds right now.
4-5 weeks before last frost. But if you call your local county extension, they will tell you all you need to know. Just ask for there Master Gardener, he knows all!
I am in Missouri and wonder when to start tomato seeds inside. Thanks, I think I might get them going in a couple of days. I can set them in a sunny window in the garage on the workbench. I've never tried seeds before, always bought the plants when the garden centers open up.
