Make sure large enough pots are used with drainage and a good potting mix. When choosing your plants make sure they receive enough light and water.
You can grow everything in a container, just need good soil, light and water and a bit of TLC.
Add fertilizer regularly.
Thanks everyone!
Do your best amending the soil, adding manure, compost, plant the right plants for your area...don't forget to water, but do not overwater either, check constantly for bugs, use gardening soap, or make your own, deadhead and pull dead leaves....
I'm in the process of starting my own compost bin for next year, its just hard to fine a cheap water barrel. Any suggestions??????
car washes get their product in 50 gal barrels. get one that had soap in it not the wax. you can also call a few restaurants- some of their products come in 50 gal.size you may have to pay a small fee.
you can find here under "natural pest control"....basically water with a tab of dishwashing soap, maybe 1 tab oil....mix and ready to spray....or you can buy insecticidal soap ...don't forget to fertilize accordingly....
