Just about any vegetable will grow in a pot as long as it is a large enough pot for the mature size of the plant. Make sure you support any plant that needs it or cage to contain. I would not do winter squash, watermelon or such large veggies as it would be too hard to contain and support both the vine and the fruit of the veggie. I do herbs in ten to twelve inch pots and not in garden because too many grow huge and get very invasive. I hope this helps!

Green beans, peas do great in pots. As do tomatoes and peppers. Potatoes grow great in 5 gallon buckets. Once they are ready you dump the bucket onto a tarp pick out the potatoes without damaging them put dirt back in the bucket cover and you are done. J
