Are violas edible?
I bought some violas to plant in the yard. I thought violas we're perennial but the package says they're annuals. Also, I have seen recipes using them, but the package says they're not for human consumption. What's the story on violas? Thank you!

Edible flower varieties are grown under special conditions and in chemical free environments. If they are marked as non-consumable, you don't have the right variety. There are edible violas, just not the kind you have there.
Well that is a first for me with violas. In all my years of gardening and running a garden center I have never heard of this.Not to be rude but are you sure that is the flower?
