I have gourd seeds sprouting in a starter pot.

what is the best way to transplant them, in a pot, in the ground, shade, sun?

    You only want to plant your gourd in the ground once you are absolutely sure the last frost has passed. They need warm soil. You can transplant it to a pot filled with potting soil and place it on a southern facing window sill.

    I planted them once a long time ago and ran them up a trellis that I had grapes growing on. The gourds came out great. I planted it for my mom who would buy a bunch for decoration in the fall. They were in full sun.
