You may have to have a flower bed, built higher than he can get to. Like 3-4' off the ground, and keep him on the ground. Do not walk around with him, for this will only give him ideas. Animals are very smart, believe me. Also, mothballs, are so handy, to place in flower beds, for animals do not like the smell, or place a marigold between your plants. . for this has a natural scent, and animals don't like this., or have a geranium handy also, for this too, has a strong smell. If you or if you know anyone who has snakes, keep the skin when they shed and place a good long piece in each in hole. They won't be back. Tried and true!
