Bee balm comes in colors of the red Amily and coneflowers come in a variety of reds to oranges to yellows to whites.
Red Hot Pokers are a lovely plant along with cannas. Coleus will also add the purples you like. Orange butterfly weed is a lovely perennial. Not sure what growing zone you are inn but in warmer climates oleanders provide a pretty pink burst of color.
