Water it slowly, preferably w a soaker hose, deeply- at least 6-8", but let the top inch or two dry before watering again so it doesn't get soggy. To keep it blooming, feed it fertilizero every 2-3 weeks through the summer. Mid summer, trim it back by half. (if you are more diligent a gardener than I am-Lol-you can pinch off the spent blooms to keep it flowering, too)
Depends on where you live. I've never been successful with them lasting very long in SoCal. Too hot! I'd check on the web about your specific gardening zone!
