What are the best perennial to grow in Georgia in non shady areas?

Day lilies are beautiful. They can withstand the southern humidity and heat Do well in clay soil, multiply quickly and no there is a large variety of colors!

Lantana and Verbena are both very hardy plants that come up year after year with lots of color varieties. They grow with little care in South Carolina
