Use a fungicide spray for lawns.
Go to your local home improvement or hardware store and they will be able to point u on the right direction.
It's my understanding that it has to do with the Ph of the soil. You can have a soil sample tested at your local agricultural extension. Afterward head over to a garden center. They should be able to recommend the product to correct the problem.
