How do you transplant a very large Gardenia bush?
I have 4 very large gardenia bushes and want to move them to another spot. How much root and how large does the hole need to be.
I am pretty sure I have transplanted that bush that has the yellow edged leaves. Hard to tell without a close up. It's done better near a fence it can climb for me.
transplanted bushes should be done in the spring or fall .They appear to be euonymus, weather providing and your planting zone is still cool yes transplant them into containers large enough for the root system making sure they have drainage holes.
Thanks all.
Yep! Just make sure that the roots get plenty of water until they take hold in their new home
they are very easy to transplant and grow...yes you can grow them up a wall or trellis...people even trim them to look like animals....have fun!
Thanks!
