Narrow but long and deep closet...

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas about what to do with a closet that could hold a lot of stuff but is awkward to get into and extract things from. It is about 3 ft tall x 4 ft deep by 18" at the door.

perhaps roll out shelving would be a good solution for you.
Are you referring to a regular closet or a pantry?
pull outs would be good but they would have to be accessible from the right as it goes up to 6' ft tall
I would focus on making the door larger if that was possible.
If you're on a budget , perhaps you could nail four foot long 1×1 to the walls at two levels and use under the bed storage containers as drawers ? You may be able to get one more on the floor .
