Do a search for "magnet screen for door" on Google. These magnet doors are easy to install and provides pets full freedom to go in and out of the house.
If you allow the cat to go out, they make screens that will seal with magnets. It will let the cat move through freely. If you do not want the cat out they make screens that have grill or plastic on the bottom.
Where do I find the screens that keep the cat in foxes come right up to the Windows. I was told they would kill the cat also brown recluse spiders cannot figure out where they are coming in. One more thing pool people found 2copperhads under cover supervisor angry and left I have ms and now fear the snakes and spiders.need help please.
We had our slider screen replaced at Ace Hardware with the scratch resistant screen. It's prob 3/4 yrs old and holding up beautifully.
they make pet resistant screens now, that have survived my 3 cats attempts to get outside. Just ask at your local hardware or DIY store
they sell metal grates at the home stores that you can just screw into the frame of the sliding screen door. Make sure you know the width before you go so you can get the perfect size
Thanks everyone for all the help!
:)
We have the screen door where the screen is only in the top half and our hybrid cat has never gotten up that high. We do have a dog door, but is the extra kind with a double door in it to help keep the winter air from coming in the house and she has never gotten out that either. I guess we have been lucky with our cat. I would try the pet resistant screen first, I have had the magnet close screen and it never closed right and had gaps that would let in mosquitos.
Could you just put a cat door into the old one where the hold is
Have you thought about a catio? Lots of plans on the Internet from easy to complicated.Everything would be enclosed and cat safe.
