Lawn seeds need to be water everyday to prevent drying out.Were they covered with peat moss? Germination time depends on what seed was applied.
I just reseeded a portion of my lawn, and am watering lightly twice a day, and the seed I used said it would sprout in 7 to 14 days, mine started peeking through on day 7. Do you have the package, or know what type of seed was put down? Enough sun every day?
