I can't get myself to throw these out because I think there must be a cool project for them.
About the only thing i can think of is maybe a type of back-splash in your kitchen, color depending of course.
You could paint them and make them into pretty coasters for drinks. You could also mod podge maps onto them to make map coasters or any other kind of design you want. You could paint them metallic and glue them together to make square pots for succulents. Or paint them, and glue them together (one as a base and two as the sides) into a pretty napkin holder.
decoupage maps, pictures, etc to them ..Add felt feet and use them for coasters
You could crush them and make a mosaic on a terra cotta pot
You can use them as trivets!
If you have broken tiles as well, make a mosiac in a bird bath. Solid tiles could also be attached to a piece of wood, add small wooden feet to the bottom, and use as a little raised table for your guest room and place a pot of tea, a cup and saucer with a pretty napkin. You could paint a design and seal it or decoupage a pretty napkin on the tiles.
