How do I keep ground squirrels from burrowing under my new paver patio
We've had to reset several bricks. We cover up the entry hole with dirt, rocks, etc. and they just keep reappearing. Any suggestions?
Cook a chicken or a pot roast. Cover bottom of pot with carrots, then the meat, followed by potatoes and onions cut in half. Add seasoning after cooking. You will need to cook for several hours, but test with a fork in the thickest part of the meat for tenderness and in the largest potatoes.
Try applying blood meal and making a spray with hot pepper and garlic

I have had very good results with bars of Irish Spring soap. It will not kill them, they just do not like it.
A layer of chicken wire on your planters, near the surface. They don't like to try and dig through it.

Sprinkle cayenne pepper or chili powder in the planters. One whiff and they'll run to the nearest tree. Won't hurt the varmints or plants. May need to reapply.
