Unfortunately, laminate floors are known for making noise. There are different types of padding and underlayment systems that can be used underneath them when they are installed to help with the issue somewhat, but most of them do not remove the noise entirely. One solution might be to use a throw rug or runner in your heavily traveled areas to dampen the sound partially.
