For the Lawn apply lime and Scotts moss out
Moss has very shallow roots so you can start by raking it out of your yard and then treat your soil for whatever is causing the moss to grow. It could be low pH or a lack of nutrients.
I like Lily Palmer Moss Out, you can buy in a spray bottle you hook on to the hose, or the granules are good for a severe case but you will need a spreader.
