How to install a wood accent wall?

You can put up wallpaper that looks like the real thing (Beautiful) , paint it to look like reclaimed wood or have a paneling that looks like reclaimed wood put up.

paint the wall to look like wood Pieces. tape lines between your fake wood pieces to look like wood steams. Perhaps use shades of grey with a dry brushing. Which will look more like wood pieces on the wall.

You could attach the reclaimed wood to some plywood or other type of "base" then secure that to the wall. It would be much simpler to change if you needed to.
