A carousel style holder would be a great option with longer tools hung from the top rack and the shorter/smaller tools staggered in between. A repurposed vintage style coatrack on casters could be your next DIY!

I have seen a pallet stood on end and rakes shovels baseball bats hockey sticks all fit in very nicely inside of it and were very easy to retrieve.

They also have hanging racks for garden tools.

I have a plastic barrel with one end cut off. You can use a taller plastic or metal garbage can and put a heavy rock or a patio stone in it to weight it down.

I used my husband's oldest golf bag for a couple of years until I got a wall rack and a box. Best wishes 😇
