Yes. Cookies don't stick and pan doesn't have to be washed.
It's definitely better - bye from Italy
I find that when I use parchment paper my cookies do not burn on the bottom and it less clean-up.
parchment paper is so much better. Your cookies won't burn on the bottom
Yes, If I have parchment paper I use it. Cookies dont stick or burn. Clean up is easier but not always just throwing the paper away but sometimes
I used parchment paper for the first time a year ago for cookies. Ive been making cookies for over 30 years and I will only use parchment paper from now on!!
parchment paper is the best kept cookie baking secret.......it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!
Depending on your budget the way to go is silicone baking mats. Come in varying sizes to fit cookie sheets or cake/pie pans. Got ours from QVC but am sure you can find them elsewhere! Washable.
Parchment paper is nice but pricey & you must throw it away after use.
I don't use either. Cookie dough is very oily because of the butter or shortening. You shouldn't need to coat your cookie sheet. Adding non-stick spray may even make your cookies spread more than you want. The trick to moving them off of the cookie sheet is to wait just a minute or two when they come out of the oven and move them to cooling racks while they are still hot. I use a metal spatula because I have found that the plastic ones push the cookie and the metal is thinner and slides right under them.
The benefit I would find with parchment or even waxed paper is if I only had one cookie sheet. Then I could prepare the next batch while the first is baking then when it is done slide the paper of baked from the cookie sheet and slide the new batch onto the sheet and pop it in the oven.
thank you all very much God bless
Yes, it's also way easier to clean!
