Hi Nancy, Since I don't know what kinds of things you like, I did some searching. The first place I searched was on Hometalk.com. Some of the things under this link are wall treatments and some not so much, but maybe you'll see something that 'pops' for you.

Then I went to google and searched for 'DIY patio wall treatment' then clicked on images. I tried to use the direct link here but for some reason it is too long and won't separate to fit on the screen so I made a shorter one with tinyurl.com. It brings up the same web page. Scroll down past the ads at the top and see what you can find.

Big beach towel or brightly patterned twin sheet. Hang large seashells, starfish and Christmas ball ornaments right through the fabric. Nothing permanent and it's lightweight. Best wishes 😇
There were a lot of plants there, weren't there? I was thinking something like this, but instead of putting the tape down and just painting over it, I'd put tape in multiple shapes and then paint the shapes different colors. You could even do it the right size for a frame and frame it as a masterpiece painting. :) I personally wouldn't do the whole wall or all in one color.
