I'm sorry ,pages of what ? You lost me at pages . Is there a decoupage in the bathroom ? On the wall ? Can you post a photo and clarify please because now I'm super curious .
Hmm, need to see this. Peeling paint? Glue pages?
yes that will work if you did have a water problem just put up what you want give it a day then seal it with poly..should be great look...:)
I cover the walls of my bathroom with paper momentos and it worked fine. I did not have a bath or shower in there so I cannot speak to steam problems.
I suppose I would have to ask myself , "why is any of the paint peeling ?" Because if you start your decoupage project over paint that hasn't peeled yet and it starts to peel later, it will make the decoupage look a preschool project .
I'd gently scrape off what's peeling and sand the rest of it. I'm kind of a perfectionist...just my opinion .
I'd figure out why the paint is peeling first. Especially if the bathroom does not get steam from a tub or shower. Is a pipe leaking behind the wall? If that is not addressed, and you decoupage, all your work could be undone.
And yes, you can mod podge pages to the wall after you scrape, sand and repaint. BUT I'd wash all the walls down first with STP cleaner.
