Daffodils are perennials which means they come each year, so yes, you can leave them in the ground year round.

SImple answer, yes if you live in a colder climate. If you live where its warm in the winter, remove bulbs after they die off, let them air dry, then before you plant in the EARLY spring, put them in the frig for a week then plant as usual.

Yes you can! They will grow again next year. Leave the leaves on as the bulb is using them to store nutrients to over winter. When the leaves are dead, then you can cut them off.

YES! Not only do they need cold weather to flower in the spring, but this is the time they multiply underground and propagate.

I LOVE bulbs, but there is absolutely no bulb worth the bother of digging up each year. There are too many beautiful plants to waste your time and energy on finicky bulbs. Where I live, they stay in the ground year round and I am in HOT NORTH Texas.

YES, OR IF THE PLANT EXPANDS TOO MUCH, THEN YOU CAN BREAK IT UP AND JUST PLANT IT AGAIN. J.

BE SURE TO TRIM THE LEAVES WHEN IT IS DONE DRAINING STRENGTH, THEN ALL IS DONE. THE PLANT WILL CARE FOR ITSELF. J.
