I have used regular blue Dawn on all kinds of oil/grease. May take more than onetry, & don't put in dryer until you know it's out.
Blue Dawn works great and I have found scrubbing with an old toothbrush helps a lot as well.
My late husband worked with creosote ( *a dark brown oil distilled from coal tar and used as a wood preservative. It contains a number of phenols, cresols, and other organic compounds) the work site. I used straight Pine-sol on his clothes and hot water to keep his clothes clean.
Have you tried shampoo?
i used lestoil made to remove hard to get out stains removes paint ,permanent marker black grease love it i swear by it
Have you tried Dawn? Worked great on brand new carpet with black grease when nothing else did.
