I have heard that Fels Naptha is good for that problem.

I'd visit Ace Hardware's cleaning department for a product called rust out or rid out. I'm sure the employees can direct you to the exact product. Best of luck.
Hello Martha; I use Salt and Lemon juice, as I am normally dealing with Antiques.
I place the salt and lemon juice in spots.
Please be careful using some things, as I had a terrible issue once. I ruined several old Antique pieces, when I used a commercial cleaner.
I hope that this helps you!! Take Care!
while I love Fels Naptha soap it won't take out rust stains. There is a product for that and it comes in a brown smallish plastic container. Ask at a hardware store. Just put it on the rust, wash it dissolve and rinse immediately.
