Would you put curtains over french doors?
I have the french doors in my living room. The living room is separated by a large fireplace. It goes out into a sunroom.
It is possible, but you will loose you guarantee on the Conservatory.
im not quite sure, but in the south here is US., its called a sunroom. regardless, facia board is nailed or screded into place. Having said that, yes, you can secure a bracket to it. Not knowing your building codes, try to find the rafters and try to mount them to the rafters.
I have used industrial strength Velcro (2" wide) to hang roman shades on metal french doors because I didn't want holes in doors. I opened and closed them daily and shades never came off from pulling up. I stuck one side of Velcro to the door (in your case the facia), matching side of Velcro to a board (cut to size). Then attached another piece of Velcro to the other side of the board and the matching side of that Velcro to the roman shade. Very important to use industrial strength. You can find at most fabric stores and some hardware stores
Is it vinyl, aluminum, wood? If it isn't wood, I would call the or a conservatory company to see if they have any suggestions, and to find out if installing brackets will damage the fascia or void the warranty.
Keep us posted :)
