I took a table top Medusa lamp and made it into garden flowers. Wooden spoons for the "petals", golf balls for the center of the flowers. The golf balls were glued into the center of each arm of the lamp, the wooden spoons were lopped off at the base of the spoon part, at an angle so they would glue into place and appear to be an open flower. Spray paint the base a green, the golf balls yellow, and the petals whatever color you want. I wish I had known about this site when I did it, and I would have done a tutorial. I sold it at a craft fair, and have always regretted it!
Crystal bowls and vases from goodwill, solar light from the dollar store...place the light in the vase, turn the bowl upside down over top, you could glue together with marine glue or e6000 ..mushroom lights that sparkle in the sun. Dragonfly made from ceiling fan paddles and a spindle, painted rocks to look like houses or frogs or ladybugs, wooden salad bowls turned upside down over logs painted to look like mushrooms
Love the mushroom lights idea!
Or buy something beautiful from Bloomin' Plates on Facebook. She has the most beautiful stuff made by her.
Although my husband is an artist/sculptor and we do have his work in our yard, we also find things at our town transfer station. . . like faux bois planters, small sculpted figures. . . like an iron mermaid for our mermaid loving granddaughter, We have a tiny pond made out of a plastic cement mixing thing I got at a yard sale for $1. Check out yard sales, good will etc for completed items.
