Solar lights run on batteries which are replaceable

Chances are the batteries are dead. Most solar lights have rechargeable batteries - provided you have the charger to do so. You can replace the batteries too, almost any store that sells batteries would carry them. Take an old one with you to get the correct size.
the first thing I do is put in a new rechargeable battery. If that doesn't fix the problem, clean the lenses that provide sunlight that powers battery. And if that doesn't work, it could be the tiny circuit board inside and under the top piece is probably shot. In which case, I'd replace the light with a new one.
The battery terminals most always will get rusty along with ends of the battery. I take a wire brush to both terminals and batteries. Put batteries back in, let charge in the sun and good as new!
Both Naomie and Joannaliddy gave fantastic answers; nothing to add.
Thank you so much for all of your responses!
Usually it is a lack of light and or the rechargeable batteries are worn out.
Solution, locate to better source of light and or replace rechargeable batteries. I have upgraded my batteries to high storage capacity so the lights stay on longer.
If it is not one of the two issues, buy new ones
