Frank, I don't think you want to solicit medical advice from DIYers on this forum - why not go on WebMD or another medical site? Better yet, see a doctor. You may have a serious condition that can only get worse.

See your doctor, you may have osteoporosis and there is medical treatment for that.
Wrap your wrist with an ace bandage when using your hands for an extended time.
Believe it or not, my chiropractor worked wonders.
Drug stores sell wrist supports but I agree with everyone else. First consult your Doctor.
Take two aspirin and call me in the morning. Seriously, do you use the computer alot? You might need a wrist support. Look at CVS, WalMart, etc. a/c they have all sizes and types. Also Home Depot carries wrist rests for this. I used one before I retired, and it helped. If that doesn't help, go to a good orthopedist. You might have carpel tunnel.
Buy the wrist support and wear them as much as possible. You will notice a big difference, but it does take a while. If they don't seem to help at all, I would see a doctor.
Jusr saw a doctor about this today! Wrist splint, ice area 15-20 twice a day and take ibuprofen for not just the pain, but because it is a great anti inflammatory.
Look at repetitive movements computer usage, crafting, gaming texting etc there repetitive movements can cause problems... try to limit those behaviors and see if there is improvement nsaids and rest as well as a support either pull in or strap can help.. otherwise it can be carpal tunnel and require medical intervention
Buy some copper gloves, they work great!
try soaking in Epsom salts. Epsom salt is rich in magnesium and helps muscles relax.
Ifnitnis possibly arthritis, try adding some apple cider vinegar water and sipping. It is old Ct. folklore...and it does help. Simple is often overlooked! Feel better!
