I always used a toothbrush to scrub it and a Q-tip to pull out the gunk in the corners. To dry them I use the edges of rags or old washcloths to suck up the water that didn't flow out on its own after rinsing it.

I used to use a toothpick (groan) but my husband got me a Turbo Scrubber you see advertised on t.v. It cleans like a dream and takes all the work out of it! We ordered ours online for $40, but you can get them now at Walmart and probably other department stores. It is also good for cleaning grout, tires on vehicles, and much more! We love it! He uses is more than I use it!

An old toothbrush works for loosening grime then vacuum. A good spray cleaner, then wipe clean. If you apply a little car wax to the clean track, the door slides nicely and it's easier to keep clean .

For me, I remove the doors then spray the tracks with barkeeper's friend in the soft cleanser. I use an old toothbrush to scrub then wipe clean. Repeat as needed. An old artist brush helps with corners. Good luck.

I buy packages of children's toothbrushes at the dollar store. They are small enough to get into grooves. Just let the track soak for a while. Also, those long bamboo skewers with some paper towel on the end reaches into the corners to clean any leftover dirt.
