It depends on the type of lampshade, but if you just have cloth lampshades without any pleats, the best way I have found to get dust off is to use a tape roller, the kind you use to get pet hair off of things. Just roll the tape around on the shade and all of the dust and other loose stuff sticks to it. Otherwise, here is another link to try:

Vacuum with brush and crevice attachments, microfiber cloth with hot hot water wrung out and wiped over or alcohol. Depends on the fabric of the lampshade.
i use a soft bristle nail brush. I simply take the shade off and gently go around it until the dust is gone. Preferably do this outside. Good luck
Soft paint brushes are so handy! I use them to brush dust and cat hair out of little nooks and crannies I otherwise couldn't reach..in my home and in my car..
The easiest way to clean a lampshade is with a lint roller. You will be amazed at how much dust gets picked up.
I vacuum my lamp shades.
It will depend what the shade is made of, I have used a vacuum attachment, microfiber cloth, Swiffer or just a damp cloth.
