Place them in your kitchen window to ripen!!
if you are not in any danger of a frost leave them on to ripen
If it's cold at night they won't ripen. Bring them in the house.
Are you trying to prevent them from freezing? You can pull up the vine, with the tomatoes still attached, and hang the vine upside down in a protected area, like a shed, garage or basement. The tomatoes won't get bigger, but they will ripen.
Leave them on the vine to ripen as long as you can, you should still have time before the first frost or freeze comes around. You can even cover them if you have an overnight frost if the days are still warm.
yes you can. You can then put them in the window to continue ripening; or, my fave, slice & fry those green tomatoes! Call me when theyre done! 😊
Put them into a brown paper bag. They will ripen quickly!
