What are the basics for installing a simplified in-ground sprinkler?

I already have a water source and 3/4 hp pump which will pump water to two separate yard faucets using 3/4 inch pvc pipe.

Everyone recommends you leave in ground sprinkler systems to a professional. There are city water issues such as backflow prevention.
Go to a local hardware store or one of the big box stores (i.e. Lowes, Home Depot) ask the staff there to show you the parts and sizes of pipe along with which glue for the PVC you can use to install your in ground system. a good look at YouTube should give you some pointers as well.
