How to clean blinds without a bathtub?
I purchased the 2" slat blinds from Walmart.com in February and hubby hung them right away. We live by a golf course and it's very dirty, dusty, muddy, etc. Not to mention cigarette smoke and hair from two lil bad dogs. All I have is a stand up shower stall, no tub, no laundry tub in basement, etc.... Help!!! Need easiest, fastest ideas to clean blinds please!

Hang them on a bar or clothes line and use a hose and soap.
They do not appear to be that wide, how about purchasing a wallpaper trough and using that? You can do it outside too.
I know people that use kitchen tongs and wrap a clean cloth around each tong and hold with a rubber band or tie. Then clean both sides of a blind at once. It is much faster and easier than spraying them in the yard or using a tub. Once a year I put ours in the shower!
OMG smoke? Yuk. My only suggestion would be to use a microfiber cloth to wash off each slat until you can take them off and wash them outside. Best of luck.
take them down and wash in the shower
I saw a pair of socks on tongs. It wipes both sides at the same time.
I put a row of aluminum nails on the trim over my garage to hang mine while I hose off and schrub with a car brush and a bucket of hot water and Awesome Orange.
If you can't hang them outside, lay an old blanket or large towel on the deck, patio, or paved area, then just lay the blind down. Use a sponge or a rag, a hot bucket of water with Mr. Clean, Spic and Span or other liquid cleaner to scrub them down, then hose off. If you don't have a CLEAN spot to lay them while they drip dry, have another blanket or large towel ready to lay the blind on. You will need to do some towel drying. Another good product is Simple Green -- this is an awesome cleaner for grimy dirt but don't use it on painted surfaces. You can find it at Walmart, Sam's, and other stores.
Find new ones are cheap
Walmart has blind cleaners that have a handle with 3 pieces on the end. A cloth fits over the three "prongs " and you can use it to clean both sides of one slat and 1 side of 2 slats at a time. Rinse often and dip in soapy bucket. Take the cloth off and wash and dry it for next time when it's done.
I've put mine in the dish washer.. If small enough they can be cleaned that way. Or my advice for wider blinds hot soapy water and hose out side.
I hang in shower using suction cup with hooks, spray with scrubbing bubbles wait 5 minutes, then rinse. (I have handheld shower head.) Turn over and do back side. Easy peasy, I also use to hang on wash line and do same thing and then just hose off. If there are tough stains just need to wipe with cloth and rinse.
