i cut mine when they start turning brown.
Cut them down to the ground now. They'll come back in spring.
pick up an almanac it lets you know things like that depending on where you live at or google it off your phone i hope this helps good luck
Hi Darlene, I always use the old farmer's method when it comes to pruning. It is: from Spring thru Fall, only prune during months that have a "R" in their name. For example, you can prune in April, but not in May. May does not have a R. I like this method because it is easy to remember. Wishing you well.
