    Hello, you could try flex seal colors. They make brown and you could tape off around it and put a few coats on it. It is a rubber sealant. Here is a link so you can check it out.

    I would glue in a piece of leather/vinyl working those threads back underneath of the seam so the glued piece will hold in the threads. You could go thrift shopping to find an old leather handbag and cut a piece out.

    You can order repair kits online or from catalogs like Harriet Carter or Dr. Leonards. It does work, much to our delight and can mend leather or faux leather! Instructions come with the kit and there is more than enough to repair what is in this photo.

    Fabric tack. Just make sure not to use too much so it squishe's out over leather. Then push it down, this stuff is tough and will glue this back together. Or best bet is put some. on a Q- tip so you know how much your using. Cover the surrounding area with plastic or something it won't soak through if you drip. It will mess up what it drips on.
