Removal -messy dirty work first.- remove carpet, remove wallpaper, remove all millwork trim, baseboards, window trim, etc.
Dirty construction work next, working ceiling to floor, high to low, if at all possible. So in this case it includes replacing the window.
Paint next. Wallpaper next. Carpet installation last.
What he said^^^^^^!!!!!
Do all the striping out first, then the Base wall and window so it is then weatherproof, and then Plaster Base wall, followed by any timber work followed by Paintwork followed by wallpaper.............
Window first, paint, wallpaper then flooring
Thank you all!
I save the carpet for last since it acts as a protection for the floor underneath until the end when I am ready to do the floor. Gravity takes everything down to the floor.
