I used soft scrub and worked fine for me, but it wasn't years worth of build up. So you might need to do it a few times.
Normally white vinegar and water does the trick. Next thing to try is something called CLR. It's usually available anywhere they sell cleaning supplies. I also used car wax on mine. The gentle abrasives can remove that last little bit of residue.
Hi Dan. I make a paste with vinegar and baking soda. I then scrub it on good and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Rinse and repeat if needed on harder stains. After rinsing I wipe down with a towel.
Wet them down or clean them immediately after your shower. I use a dryer sheet and scrub the doors and, in my case, the walls are also glass. Once they are scrubbed and look soapy, pour or spray with clear water. Using a fiber cleaning cloth, wipe them down. Then polish them with a clean fiber cloth. They will sparkle like new. I clean mine after every few showers so they don't build up.
Steam cleaning works.
Clean the doors with a scrubber sponge, and some liquid soap, rinse. Next use straight vinegar, that does the job.
Dawn dish soap, lemon juice, vinegar & water.
2 oz. BLUE dawn dish soap
4 oz. lemon juice
8 oz. vinegar
10 oz. water
Mix & put in spray bottle. Spray glass or tile, u can use a soft brush to scrub whole surface & let sit for 30 mins. Spray off w/water. Repeat if necessary. I use as regular cleaning. Shake before spraying on. Smells good too & is environmently safe.
