use velco to attach fabric.
Agreed on Velcro. You can use staple gun for the non-removablue parts.
The peel and stick velcro often tends to be stronger in sticking to each other, than to the fabric or whatever other surface you are trying to get it to adhere to. The side that is glued to the fabric often starts coming off as soon as you are trying to get the drape in position.
To avoid this use the sew-on velcro, sewing it on the the fabric.
Use the peel and stick on the table.
What about splitting the fabric in the middle or whever your drawers are, and put 2 little loops or Chinese button knots that hook onto the sides? The rest could stay stationary with 2-sided tape, nail heads staples, velcro etc.
