Good luck!
I would also recommend you get the ultraviolet pet flashlight as urine floreses so you can see where they've gone on the floor or sprayed on wall. I prefer the tablet pet enzyme cleaners as they are fresh, and why pay for water.... https://www.amazon.com/Jackson-Galaxy-Stain-Eliminator-Fizzion/dp/B019YMYNR0/ref=pd_sim_199_6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=1C65W3H8C4WF896MPX3C

Lastly why is cat peeing on floor? box not cleaned daily, doesn't like their litter, needs to see vet for UTI or uric acid crystals in bladder (very painful). These are some of the issues that cause going outside of the box. Also if cat is seeing another cat outside the window spraying on their territory, it can cause them to mark an area. Get a pet deterrent air spray bottle or hose attachment to scare away intruders.
Wipe with baking soda first. Then clean area with the orange cleaner. Cats hate the smell and your kitchen will smell like oranges
My cat starting peeing inappropriately so I agree you need to find out why. Mine has CKD (kidney disease). Anyway, she peed on the COUCH! The stench was awful and nothing was helping. oMy cat starting peeing inappropriately so I agree you need to find out why. Mine has CKD (kidney disease). Anyway, she peed on the COUCH! I found a product at Homey Depot that was MAGIC! It totally removed the odor without damaging the fabric. Odo-Ban works an kills the bacteria, etc. not just some "perfume". You must thoroughly soak the area so it remains wet for at least 10 minutes and it may need several treatments.
If this doesn't work, you may need to sand or even replace the wood.
