Why doesn't my wisteria shrub produce flowers?

MY WISTERIA IS OVER 8 FEET HIGH. 10 YEARS OLD. NEVER PRODUCE FLOWERS.

    Ck the soil nutrients...sometimes it’s a couple of years before it will bloom but Chan es are not enough sunlight or you are sadly needing n p k adjustments. N is for nitrogen, but you say it’s 8’ tall (so maybe a bit too high?) p phosphorus needed for bloom*** there you go! Soil test from your state university about $7 and ask how much of what to add. They will even tell you what to use. Good luck.

    I've had mine that long..........it bloomed VERY WIMPY, ONE year and now it grows , but no flowers!!
