I'd have a contractor or 3 come in to check and see if the "anchor" on the left of the pic is a bearing wall. If it isn't you can easily remove that and either square off the room or at least have the curve only at the corner (dark gray to left of tv). My guess is that you can likely remove that or put up a support post which will open the area to a more normal corner. Then you can design at will!

You could come out from the deepest part of the curve and start with an angular storage area or fireplace then add shelving to either side of the center area to the side walls.

How unique to have a curved wall, I have lived in a round house and loved the lack of square everything. I would decorate it with either a curved console to act as a serving area for your dining room, you can add a couple curve-backed arm chairs on either side, and a couple small lamps, hang an oval mirror from the crown moulding Victorian style.

WOW. That wall is something special, very unique, and your paint and moldiing really make it pop. Is that the only place you could put your buit-ins? It seems a shame to lose such a feature. If you are determined, have a professional come and look at it. A change in the walls shape will mean patching the flooring and the ceiling. I assume that you are thinking gas fireplace. Natural or propane? Vented or unvented? Those things are dependent on how you home is constructed. A professional will know what you can do.

I love that wall, I seen this same wall in home show in California, they had a slim fire place not was electric in the center of the curve and a slim book case built on each side and is looked stunning. You really have a Great Wall to make that big focal point they the right contractor📌🍁

Thank you all for your advice. Taking what you all said it seems I'm not using this wall as a feature and maybe I should. Maybe I should just readjust my furniture and just keep this as is.

Purchase the Fireplace from Lowes, Amazon etc., Keep in mind that it doesnt have to be a Built in one, or a whole lot of remodeling the space in order to make it look great and work for you!! They do sell the portable ones in good sizes!!
