What's good to put in our front yard that has to be water friendly ?

We live in a fifty five and older complex but don't want to put in rock or all water friendly plants.

Depends upon where you live and if you want to put in a lawn or just garden beds.

Depending on where you live, sedum is a great answer. Lots of colors and pretty foliage. It feels like a succulent and can go a long time without water. Your local nursery is your friend!
