not enough water or not making contact with soil.
Did you water daily to keep it moist?
It was established by this spring. Then it started dying. One section is gone. The rest is browning and no longer looks like fall 2016 or early summer 2017. It was watered.
Have you treated the lawn for grub?
Sounds like you might need to feed it some more water, best of luck :)
