I have black spots on the leaves and they are yellow as well.

    If this is on your roses, you have rose blight. Pick off all the yellowed leaves and make sure to remove all from the ground. Once the area is clean, mulch well. Use a rose blight spray. Some roses are more susceptible to blight than others. Be vigilant about cleaning up after those that are showing signs. It will spread to your hardier roses.

    Black Spot on Roses is a fungus - and there a good systemic products to help control it -- improve ventilation, be sure they get at least 6+ hours of sun a day and avoid wetting foliage when you water -- it can be spread by insects as well as contact from pruning shears, wind, etc. Do not 'compost' any debris or trimmings from the plants
