Cut out a square from the damaged carpet, then use that piece as a pattern to cut a matching square out of undamaged carpet. Put the new square in the space from the old square and try to "fluff" the edges to help the new piece blend in.
There are professional who do this. Get some bids and start saving. Or look it up on google. They probably have a "how to" for you to follow
