Large Cardboard Boxes or Crates or Buckets etc........
Depends on the plants and how to you plant to transport and how the trip will be.
Large boxes that are as deep as the tallest plants. Crumble newspaper around the plant pots so that there is no wiggle space. Place on smooth steady surface like an SUV. Use bungees cords to keep boxes rom moving.
Place in box so that the plant will not tip over, cover with a plastic garbage bag for short trips. Do not water heavily before transporting. Water on arrival. Do not leave under plastic any longer than necessary (up to 24 hours).
Wrap them in wet newspapers
