I used the Rustoleum on a bathtub and it worked out very well.
I had a similar problem and found Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser (for Porcelain) and was shocked that the awful stains that I had tried to get rid of with so many other products, came right off. They also send the cleaning rag to do it with. I bought it at Amazon.

Wet your sink and sprinkle baking soda over entire area and scrub with sponge. Then squeeze out the sponge and pour peroxide on it and scrub again adding a little along the way. Wait 15 minutes and rinse. One more step only if you want to keep the sink cleaner a little longer...Let sink dry and use car wax the same way you do on a car.
